Who I Am

I'm Dr. Leslie R. Welch — a Doctor of Chiropractic with nearly 30 years of clinical experience, a Certified Independent Chiropractic Examiner (CICE), and a National Registry Certified Medical Examiner (NRCME). My career has been built at the crossroads of clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and medical-legal expertise.

I've spent years performing IMEs and INEs, rating impairment under the AMA Guides, and guiding complex cases involving injured workers, commercial drivers, and the legal and insurance professionals who depend on accurate, defensible medical opinions. I've spoken nationally, built and operated multiple healthcare businesses, and developed a deep respect for the practitioners who show up every day doing this work with integrity.

Why I Created This Resource

The FMCSA estimates there are more than 60,000 NRCME-certified examiners across the country. Yet once certification is complete, there's no expert community, no practical ongoing resource, and no trusted guide for the real-world questions that come up every day in the exam room — questions about complex medical conditions, medications, gray-area cases, and regulatory updates that can mean the difference between a driver keeping their livelihood and a carrier facing liability.
